Wei State is the northern realm governed by Wei Shao / Zhong Lin and the principal setting of Qiao Man /'s married life. Its history is shaped by the massacre at Xindu, the Wei clan's feud with the Qiao family, and the effort to rebuild the Yongning Canal. The realm becomes the center of the alliance resisting Liu Yan / Mao Qing and Su E Huang / Lady Yu Lou.
CityYujun
Yujun is the capital of Wei State and the primary recurring city after Qiao Man / marries Wei Shao / Zhong Lin. It contains the Wei family residence, government offices, military training grounds, and the households of the ruling clan. The city later faces an attack by forces connected to Su E Huang / Lady Yu Lou.
HomeWei Residence
The Wei Residence is the ruling family's home in Yujun and the main domestic setting for Qiao Man / and Wei Shao / Zhong Lin. Qiao Man / must establish her position here while facing Lady Zhu's hostility, Lady Xu's scrutiny, and distrust from the wider household. Its courtyards and private rooms chart the gradual transformation of the political marriage into a shared home.
TempleWei Ancestral Hall
The Wei Ancestral Hall preserves the memorial tablets of the Wei relatives killed during the fall of Xindu. It embodies the family grief that initially prevents Wei Shao / Zhong Lin from accepting Qiao Man / as his wife. Her eventual formal introduction to the ancestors marks her acceptance as a true member of the Wei family.
CityXindu
Xindu is the city where Wei Shao / Zhong Lin's grandfather, father, and elder brother were killed fourteen years before the main story. Li Su ordered a three-day massacre after Bianzhou forces captured it, making the city the origin point of the Wei-Qiao blood feud. In the present, Qiao Man / helps calm its distrustful citizens while Wei Shao / works to restore its government and defenses.
RealmYanzhou
Yanzhou is the Qiao family's territory and the target of Wei Shao / Zhong Lin's opening military campaign. Its leaders propose the marriage between Qiao Man / and Wei Shao / to avoid destruction, but conflict between Qiao Yue and Qiao Ping later leaves the region vulnerable to Liu Yan / Mao Qing. Its survival remains one of Qiao Man /'s central political concerns.
CityPanyi
Panyi is the fortified gateway to Yanzhou and the territory Qiao Man / offers as her marriage dowry. Its seal, grain stores, and position near the Yongning Canal make it more valuable to Wei Shao / Zhong Lin than a purely ceremonial alliance. The city becomes the setting for Qiao Man /'s confrontation with Liu Yan / Mao Qing, her reconciliation with Wei Shao /, and major battles near the ending.
OtherYongning Canal
The Yongning Canal is the strategic waterway linking multiple territories and providing water, transport, flood control, and agricultural security. Control of its source and route motivates Wei Shao / Zhong Lin's campaign toward Yanzhou and Panyi. Its restoration becomes the couple's shared political vision, while its destruction during the final war represents the cost of regional ambition.
CityKangjun
Kangjun is the Qiao family stronghold governed by Qiao Ping within Yanzhou. It is Qiao Man / and Qiao Ci's childhood home and remains emotionally important after Qiao Man / marries into Wei. The city later becomes the site of Qiao Yue's betrayal, Qiao Ping's blinding, and the violent collapse of the Qiao family's internal unity.
HomeQiao Residence
The Qiao Residence in Kangjun is the ancestral household shared by the two branches of the Qiao family. It is where Qiao Man / and Qiao Fan / are raised and where the marriage alliance with Wei is debated. The household's apparent unity later fractures as Qiao Yue turns against Qiao Ping and uses family members as political leverage.
CityBoya
Boya is a strategically placed county near the borders of Yanzhou, Wei State, and Bianzhou. Qiao Man / encourages Qiao Fan / and Bi Zhi to establish themselves there so the Qiao family will retain a defensible fallback after surrendering Panyi. Bi Zhi's control of Boya later gives him the military power to influence the final war.
KingdomLangya State
Langya State is the power base of Liu Yan / Mao Qing and the source of the armies he uses against Wei and Yanzhou. From this realm, he pursues territorial expansion while continuing to claim Qiao Man / as his intended wife. It becomes the political base of his alliance with Su E Huang / Lady Yu Lou.
RealmBianzhou
Bianzhou is the regional state whose army captured Xindu and created the tragedy that defines Wei Shao / Zhong Lin's childhood. It is ruled by the Chen house and later divided by the power struggle between Chen Pang and Su E Huang / Lady Yu Lou. The realm is also connected to the hidden truth of Wei Yan / Shi Yuan's birth.
CityDanjun
Danjun is the capital of Bianzhou and the center of the Chen family's authority. Su E Huang / Lady Yu Lou lives there as the wife of the Bianzhou ruler before succession conflict forces her to rely on military support elsewhere. The city represents the political confinement and status she later tries to escape.
HomeJade Tower
The Jade Tower is the elaborate residence built for Su E Huang / Lady Yu Lou by her husband in Bianzhou. It gives her the title Lady Yu Lou and visually represents the luxury, isolation, and political dependency of her married life. The setting becomes closely associated with the identity she turns into a source of influence.
KingdomWushan State
Wushan State is the homeland of Su E Huang / Lady Yu Lou and Su Zi Xin. Its noble Su family treats Su E Huang / primarily as a political marriage asset, contributing to her determination to obtain power in her own right. Representatives of Wushan later participate in the Luli gathering in Yujun.
Military BaseLuli Tournament Grounds
The Luli Tournament Grounds are the military training grounds in Yujun selected for a gathering of rulers, commanders, and martial representatives from multiple states. Qiao Man / and Wei Shao / use the event to promote cooperation on the Yongning Canal while rival factions compete for reputation and influence. The gathering also brings Liu Yan / Mao Qing, Qiao Ci, Su Zi Xin, and other regional figures into one public arena.
OfficeYujun Government Office
The Yujun Government Office is where Wei Shao / Zhong Lin conducts state business away from the family residence. He temporarily moves there during a period of emotional distance from Qiao Man /, while she quietly sends food, clothing, medicine, and household supplies through Xiao Tan. The setting contrasts his public authority with his growing private dependence on his wife.
CityLiancheng
Liancheng is a Yanzhou-controlled city positioned near the contested stronghold of Xiaogang. Its forces can reach Xiaogang quickly through a secretly constructed mountain passage, making it central to Qiao Man /'s defensive planning. The secrecy surrounding that route later creates a serious trust conflict between her and Wei Shao / Zhong Lin.

Xiaogang is a strategic fortified position near the border of Wei-controlled territory and Yanzhou. Possession of it affects the security of both realms, prompting Qiao Man / to arrange a secret route from Liancheng. Battles and injuries associated with Xiaogang intensify the political and marital tension between the lead couple.
OtherLiancheng–Xiaogang Secret Passage
The secret mountain passage links Liancheng with Xiaogang and allows Yanzhou troops to reach the contested stronghold rapidly. Qiao Man / conceals the project because it protects her birth family against a possible future Wei attack. Discovery of the passage tests whether her marriage to Wei Shao / Zhong Lin has truly replaced strategic suspicion with trust.
OtherTan Terrace
Tan Terrace is a damaged public structure in Xindu where citizens gather during the opening marriage negotiations. Qiao Man / appears there before the frightened population, who hope her marriage will prevent renewed war and slaughter. The scene establishes her public image as both a political bride and a protector of civilians.
