Synopsis
In the restrictive Joseon era, the intelligent Madam Cho, constrained by societal gender norms, seeks control by orchestrating a complex game of seduction. She tasks the notorious charmer Cho Won with seducing Hui Yeon, a young widow committed to chastity. Cho Won accepts, confident in his abilities, but Hui Yeon proves resistant, her suppressed emotions slowly stirring. As manipulation and genuine feelings intertwine, all three become embroiled in a perilous emotional struggle where desire, pride, and vulnerability clash, with uncertain outcomes for everyone involved.
