The East Palace

Jiejie’s Take
A king hires a ghost-slayer and a ghost-talker to investigate his own palace? Sounds less like a strategic move and more like a desperate attempt to avoid a proper security audit. I'm just saying, if your palace is haunted enough to need a supernatural dream team, maybe invest in some better feng shui or, you know, a competent human guard.
Synopsis
Within a mythical monarchy plagued by unsettling occurrences, the reigning monarch discreetly enlists two individuals with extraordinary gifts. One is Gu Cheon, an arrogant yet formidable exorcist capable of shifting into a spectral form to navigate the spirit world. The other is Saeng Gang, a palace attendant burdened with the unique ability to perceive and converse with the deceased.
Their mission involves probing a malevolent presence residing within the Crown Prince's official residence. As this improbable duo delves into the investigation, they begin to unearth deeply concealed truths that have remained hidden within the palace's confines for years.
Progressing further into a domain where the mortal and the ethereal realms converge, they are compelled to face a multitude of threats. These include wrathful apparitions, intricate schemes, and an unspeakable malevolence that endangers the entire royal court from its very core.
