So, a 'sassy princess' who's basically a walking PR disaster gets drunk, and *poof*, a hot, injured martial artist just happens to stumble into her room? And she immediately falls for him? Or she immediately begins to -? ...lol you'll have to watch it. Honey, that's not fate, that's either a setup or a really convenient plot device for a girl who probably needs a reality check more than a prince. But We will take it.
Synopsis
Princess Liu Ling, a twenty-year-old imperial favorite, enjoys a life of luxury and indulgence, largely due to the Emperor's affection for her. Despite her privileged status, she is known for her impulsive nature, quick temper, and generally spoiled demeanor. Her tendency to disregard social graces and treat others with contempt has earned her numerous adversaries within the court.
Beyond the palace walls, the common populace frequently circulates unfavorable, often baseless, rumors about her. On a whim during her birthday, the princess ventures outside the palace to a secluded inn, where she drinks to excess and passes out.
While she is unconscious, a distinguished military commander named Shen Yan, a formidable martial artist, inadvertently enters her room, having sustained injuries from a confrontation with a notorious bandit. Liu Ling is immediately captivated by the wounded warrior and attempts to win his affection. Initially, Shen Yan appears unimpressed by her overtures, leaving the audience to wonder if this unlikely pair can forge a bond of friendship, or perhaps even an improbable romance, given enough time.
