Jiejie’s Take
Oh, another drama where a woman is blamed for her family's woes from birth? And she's an aspiring animator, while her mother is a "star cellist" with a perfect image hiding secrets. Sounds like a classic tale of generational trauma and finding oneself, with a cheerful singing instructor thrown in for good measure. Let's see if these three women can actually figure out what "family" means without too much dramatic crying.
Synopsis
An aspiring animation writer, Na Ji Ni, has carried deep emotional wounds since birth, having been blamed for her family's destruction. Despite the harsh judgment, she is determined to create a globally impactful Korean animation and reclaim her identity. Her mother, Na Se Ri, a former star cellist, maintains a flawless public image while concealing profound fears and painful secrets. As the estranged mother and daughter confront their past, they encounter No Yeong Ju, a cheerful singing instructor who, after enduring many hardships, is now seeking happiness for herself. Bound by shared pain, broken family ties, and a desire for new beginnings, these three women struggle against prejudice and fate to discover the true meaning of family.
