100 Days of Deception
100일의 거짓말
Jiejie’s Take
Oh, honey, another historical drama where a pickpocket becomes a spy for the independence army? And she's only *supposed* to be a fake spy for 100 days, but somehow, oops, she gets all tangled up in real espionage and a forbidden romance with an interpreter. Sounds like someone's going to have a very busy 100 days, and probably a lot more drama than she bargained for!
Synopsis
In Japanese colonial-era Gyeongseong, a skilled pickpocket named Ga Gyeong makes a pact with the independence army, infiltrating the Japanese Government-General of Joseon as a "fake spy" for 100 days. Her undercover assignment gradually transforms her into a genuine informant, forcing her to choose between survival, loyalty, and her beliefs. While navigating her dangerous dual existence, Ga Gyeong develops a romantic connection with Tae Ung, a Korean interpreter also working within the same building, amidst a web of secrets, deception, and escalating political unrest.
