The Hook

I put this song on while writing, and within minutes I can barely see the screen because my eyes are raining. From the very first note — that soft, haunting hum drifting into the melody — the entire atmosphere changes. There’s something deeply comforting about it, yet it hurts at the same time. The kind of hurt that feels strangely healing.

What amazes me most is that I didn’t understand a single lyric the first time I heard it, but emotionally? I understood everything. That’s the magic of a truly great OST. It transcends language completely.

“Sirius” doesn’t sit quietly in the background. It wraps itself around you. The song feels weightless and heavy all at once — peaceful enough to sleep to, beautiful enough to write to, and devastating enough to accidentally trigger a midnight existential cry session. I’ve had it on repeat ever since I first discovered it through The Wolf OST, and somehow it still hits exactly the same every single time.
